Where the Yangtze Meets the Sea, a City of Elegance Emerges — Nantong. At the  confluence of the Yangtze River and the rising tides of the Yellow Sea lies a land of inherent  grace—Nantong. Cradled by the river and gently touched by the sea breeze, its free spirit  flows from the powerful waters, while the eternal rhythm of the tides shapes its deep cultural  roots. The ancient Hao River winds through the city like a smooth jade ribbon, reflecting  glimpses of a thousand-year history. Meanwhile, Nantong's reputation as the “first modern  city” of China stands as a guiding light, illuminating the steady path of industrial renewal.

这里，是江海深情吻过的土地，既承袭着水乡的温婉细腻，又激荡着弄潮儿的开拓精神。一方水土养一方匠人，首席公馆根植于此，汲取这份天地之灵与人文之魄，将南通的呼吸与心跳，融入每一寸精雕细琢的木艺之中。

This land is touched by river and sea—gentle and refined like a water town, yet full of the  bold energy of pioneers. From this place, craftsmanship emerges. Sacucci Residence, rooted  here, draws from the land's spirit and the people's soul, embedding Nantong’s essence and  rhythm into every meticulously carved piece of woodwork.

本案静栖南通，将东方风骨娓娓道来。空间以温润木色为底，古朴质感流淌于每一寸肌理。门楣窗棂，暗藏云纹祥瑞；方寸榫卯，诉说千年智慧。家具线条洗练，却于转折处见圆融，沉敛中透东方气韵。

This home quietly sits in Nantong, telling a story of Eastern elegance with gentle grace. The  space is rooted in warm wood tones, where rustic simplicity flows through every texture.  Door frames and lattice windows feature auspicious cloud motifs; intricate mortise-andtenon joints showcase a legacy of wisdom spanning thousands of years. The furniture is  refined in shape, with soft, rounded transitions that reveal a gentle Eastern charm beneath its  composed lines.

客厅空间，深谙对称之美。深色木质家具沿中轴徐徐铺展，素色织物如宣纸轻覆，晕染出留白的雅韵。古典灯饰自吊顶垂落，将光影裁成工整诗行。器物各守其位，却在虚实间生出呼吸。每一处对称，皆非刻板复刻，而是对东方“中和”哲学的凝练表达。

The living room captures the elegance of symmetry. Dark wood furniture extends gradually  along the central axis, while light fabrics hang like xuan paper, echoing the poetry of negative  space. Classic lighting fixtures hang from the ceiling, shaping light and shadow into poetic  lines. Every item is purposeful, yet it fosters the dance of solid and void. Here, symmetry isn't  strict duplication but a refined expression of the Eastern philosophy of balance and harmony.

沙发背景墙，中轴处莲花纹样灼灼其华，是客厅的点睛之魂。莲，出尘不染，象征纯净高洁；其瓣舒展，寓意和谐圆满；莲心微凸，暗合福运汇聚。木之温厚承载莲之清雅，刚柔相济。这方莲花纹样，不仅为空间注入宁静禅意，更寄寓着对居者品性如莲、家宅清吉的深挚祝福，让坐卧之间皆沐君子之风。

At the center of the living room, a blooming lotus motif on the main wall becomes the soul of  the space. The lotus—untouched by the mud—represents purity and nobility. Its open petals  symbolize harmony and completeness; its subtly raised center hints at shared prosperity. The  warmth of wood complements the elegance of the lotus, combining strength and softness.  This motif does more than bring Zen-like calm to the room—it carries a profound blessing:  that the resident’s character be as noble as the lotus, and the home be filled with peace and  good fortune. In every moment of sitting, one is immersed in the aura of a gentleman.

客厅木作通体选用黑胡桃。其色如历经岁月熏染的古墨，深沉内蕴；纹理似宋画山水，层峦叠嶂，气韵天成。木性坚韧致密，历久弥新，自带温厚古雅的东方底色。覆以零度哑涂装，隐去眩目光泽，只余柔和质感，让木纹肌理在低调中沉静舒展，触手生温。

The entire living room woodwork is made from American black walnut. Its hue  resembles aged ink, rich and deep, as if it has been soaked in time. The grain flows  like a Song Dynasty landscape painting—layered ridges and rolling peaks, exuding a  natural, effortless charm. With its dense, resilient nature, the wood matures  beautifully over time, carrying a warm, understated elegance intrinsic to Eastern  aesthetics. Finished with a matte coat that has no gloss, the surface avoids excessive  shine, leaving only a soft, tactile feel. The wood grain unfolds gently in this quiet  restraint, inviting warmth through a gentle touch.

黑胡桃的沉稳质地与零度哑的谦和光泽相得益彰，无需张扬，自成风骨，完美契合东方气韵的空间所追求的宁静雅致与时光温润之美。

The calm substance of walnut and the humility of the matte finish complement one  another—unassuming yet full of presence, embodying the quiet refinement and  timeless beauty so prized in Eastern-inspired spaces.

电视墙两侧以木作护墙板奠定沉稳基调，未施繁复雕琢，仅以极简的线框破除平面之寂。线条于立面勾勒出虚实相生的韵律，在留白处蓄养层次，于简净中见丰盈。这方寸之间的取舍之道，恰是东方美学的智慧凝练，以减法写意，以克制显贵。

Flanking the television wall, wood paneling sets a steady tone. Rather than ornate  carving, it employs minimalist framing to break the plane’s stillness gently. The subtle  lines trace a rhythmic interplay of solid and void, cultivating depth in simplicity. In the  space between excess and omission lies the distilled wisdom of Eastern aesthetics— expressing richness through restraint, and elegance through quiet confidence.

阳台整面定制柜，不止于收纳。内凹一方精凿框景，打破柜体之规整。此处可以陈列摆件，木作温厚肌理与器物风骨在此交融，实用与意趣共生。这精巧的留白，让收纳柜瞬间有了呼吸与焦点，展露出生活雅趣与智慧。

On the balcony, a custom wall of cabinetry offers more than storage. A recessed,  finely carved frame interrupts the uniform surface, offering a curated niche for  display. Here, the tactile warmth of wood meets the character of treasured objects,  where function meets delight. This thoughtful interruption gives the cabinet breath  and focus, reflecting the refined pleasures and intelligence of daily life.

主卧，承袭客厅气韵，通体延续温润木作。空间褪去繁饰，以沉静木色为底，纹理如水墨氤氲，流淌一室安然。线条简练利落，结构方正端雅，于无声中构筑秩序之美。

The master bedroom continues the spatial language of the living room, enveloped in  the same warm woodwork. The décor is pared down, with tranquil wood tones  forming a gentle base. Grain patterns unfurl like ink wash paintings, filling the room  with a calm atmosphere. Lines are crisp and clean, structures upright and dignified— an understated composition of harmony and order.

背景墙撷取古典园林的海棠窗造型。木作窗格之内，江涛起伏画卷铺展，层波叠浪。温润木色托起这片流动的意象，非窗，却胜似观景。让每个归寝时分都成为与山河的对话，心随江海远，梦枕天地宽。

The feature wall draws inspiration from classical garden windows in the shape of  crabapple blossoms. Within the wooden lattice, a flowing seascape unfolds—waves  upon waves in motion. Warm-toned wood carries this dynamic image, not a literal  window, yet more evocative than one. Every evening becomes a quiet dialogue with  nature, as the heart journeys beyond the rivers and seas, and dreams find rest across  open skies.

移步易景间，空间的每一寸肌理都暗藏玄机。木作之上，东方气韵不着痕迹地流淌，非刻意雕琢，而是骨子里的文心匠意自然生发。设计师以极致入微的巧思，将千年风雅融入精微细节，于无声处，尽显真正的定制深度。

Step by step, the space reveals its deeper layers. The grain of the wood carries a  quiet current of Eastern spirit—never overt, never contrived. Instead, it arises  naturally from the craftsmanship’s refined intuition. With meticulous thought, the  designer weaves a thousand years of elegance into the most minor details. In silence,  the depth of bespoke living quietly unfolds.

书房区域，深谙“室雅何需大”的精髓。择静室一隅，倚窗而设，晨光漫过案几，木作盈室。布局去冗存真，器物各安其位，于整洁有序中涵养心神。

The study embodies the essence of the Chinese proverb, “A refined room need not  be large.” Nestled in a quiet corner by the window, morning light glides across the  desk, filling the room with the scent of wood. The layout is disciplined yet warm, each  object in its rightful place, cultivating serenity through order.

书房隔断处以海棠窗造型勾勒。玲珑花影，虚掩半透，既界分空间，又气韵相连，木纹与光影在此交织成画。此间设计，让伏案之余抬眼即见东方婉约，于通透处，更添几分掩映生姿的书斋意趣。

A partition features the crabapple lattice motif, casting delicate floral shadows— partially open, partially veiled. It delineates space while allowing energy to flow, with  the wood grain and light merging into a living, organic painting. This moment of  design transforms a glance up from reading into a quiet encounter with Eastern  grace, where openness is softened by subtle shelter, adding poetic charm to the  scholar’s retreat.

家的叙事，于此搁笔暂歇。木意生长，风骨流转的东方画卷，尚未尽述其境。且让时光在木色温润处沉淀，待下次推开门扉，再共赴一场关于栖居的美学长谈。
